Lovely Staff! Delicious food that definitely makes you want to come back for more and even take some home.
The Sourdough is out of this world fresh.
They have delivery, so will be getting more orders on the regular.
Very cosy for working, reading and a date.
One of the Best Cafes I have been too in Kilkenny.

Extremely disappointed by this overpriced, unfriendly café. Ham and cheese sandwich (15€!) was greasy, salad looked from the week before (brown), service was abysmal (didn't even look at us when trying to order, dirty glasses, had to get our own water and cutlery).

Response from the owner

We take customer feedback seriously, but we are concerned because several details in your review do not match our café. The toastie in the photograph is not our bread, salad or lettuce, and the price you quoted is not the price we charged for our ham and cheese toastie. We also cannot verify the meal shown from your description.
If this review was intended for another café, we'd appreciate if you could check and update it. If you did visit Wildflower Café, we'd be happy to discuss your experience directly and resolve any genuine concerns.

I'm no food critic, but I like good food. In all the years of coming to Kilkenny City I've never realized Butler's Gallery exists, let alone Wild Flower Cafe in it. The food menu is simple, but excellent. This is NOT aimed at the Fast Food crowd. They also have a full menu of healthy ayurvedic drinks. I had the Maca and my wife had the Turmeric chai. She had the Beetroot and goats cheese salad. I've never tasted beetroot done like this. Gorgeous. I stick with my simple food - ham and vintage cheese toastie. No sliced cheese. The real deal. The food was excellent. Would love to come back in summer and sit in the garden. Being in a gallery, it is nearly like eating in a library😄 people are respectful of others and although it wasn't hugely busy on a could winter Sunday, it was great.

Visited on a cold winters day and ate outside in the greenhouses which was a great space to visit with our young dog ,who is in training. Blankets available for customers.

I didn’t catch her name but the lady who served us this morning was really friendly and customer service was 5 star. Scones were homemade and warm, served with mascarpone and delicious jam on the side. Will definitely be back here for a visit.

Skip all places in the city centre, this is your place to go. We loved everything about it: great selection of food, many gluten free and vegetarian options. We went for weekend special and scones, took some great tea and americano along. Please make sure to visit and enjoy great food on patio!
